Teen Friends

Welcome to the Webquarters of the Teen Friends of the Patchogue-Medford Library!
Our current officers are:

Vice President: Stephanie

Who are we?
The Teen Friends are a group of teens who volunteer to help and serve the Patchogue-Medford Library Community.
What does that mean?
It means we get together to discuss ideas for programs, prizes and other fun library related activities. You can have a chance to earn some community service by participating in some of our meetings, book sales or some of our annual activites such as a Halloween carnival.
When do we meet?
We meet on the first and third Friday of every month! Our current meeting times are 4:30-5:30, but this will change in November. Be sure to check out the newsletter for the most current times!
What are we working on now?
We are currently planning our Halloween carnival which will be done on October 30th for the CAPS department. If you are interested in volunteering, please be sure to come on down!
Why should I join?
- A chance to earn community service
- A chance to meet some wonderful teens who love the library as much as you!
How do I join?
Just come to one of our meetings and fill out an application form. Visit a YA librarian at the desk for more details!
Come on down to one of our meetings and meet some fun and dynamic teens. You'll have a blast!
